Scope and Contents
Copies of mostly primary publications but also secondary sources on or by the (Boy) Scout Association of China and/or its local/provincial branches in various parts of China ranging in dates from the 1910s to 1970s, mostly rare items difficult to obtain either inside or outside China and useful for research on the earlier history of Scouting in China in the early postpre-WWII days, acquired during research trips conducted by the donor to restricted or special collections of central or main public and academic libraries of Shanghai, Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong and elsewhere.

This collection was acquired by the Archives as a gift from Dr. Paul KUA in 2012. It was accessed in the same year, and re-processed in September 2015.
Content Description
All hard copies are Xeroxed copies in black and white on paper and in very good to good conditions, but susceptible to the usual fading over time related to copies of this type.
