D. Dissertation, Mississippi State Univ., December 2002 (on the history of Scouting in Great Britain)p; 3) Wendy C. Sterne, "The Formation of the Scouting Movement and the Gendering of Citizenship," Ph. D. Dissertation, Univ. of Wisconsin, Madison, 1993 (on the history of Scouting in the United States); and three master's theses on Scouting in China/Taiwan from an education perspective, all submitted to the National Taiwan Normal University in 2003.
